ERC20 wallet addresses always start with 0x (e.g., 0xbd7e…). TRC20 addresses begin with the letter T (e.g., T9zP14…). Always confirm the address format before sending funds.
Which Should You Use?
Choose TRC20 if you need fast, low-cost transfers — especially for high-frequency or small-value transactions. Choose ERC20 if you need maximum security, compatibility with DeFi protocols, or institutional-grade integrations. Never send tokens across mismatched networks or funds may be lost permanently.
